mTurquoise2, mNeonGreen and mCherry in Yeast

Hi everybody,
Has anyone ever successfully expressed mTurquoise2, mNeonGreen and mCherry in Yeast? Was there a lot of codon optimization? Any reason why we should not go for these tags in our future yeast experiments?
Thanks and best regards,
Laurent.

Hard to find a better characterization than that.

Hi Joachim,

Thanks, I’ll do!

Best,

Laurent.

Definitely have imaged Cherry for a user, it was dim-ish and liked to bleach, but played with imaging conditions and was able to image about 20 minutes or a bit longer with no photobleaching. I have no experience with the others in yeast. Good luck! BTW - mRuby seemed better in yeast than Cherry.
