Compatibility with Olympus F-view Camera, BX61WI microscope and Windows XP

Hi all,
I am new to this forum (please, be patient and apologize me if I am missing some guidelines or netiquette rules: please be so kind to just let me know).

We have an Olympus F-view Camera mounted on a BX61WI microscope and connected to an old computer running on Windows XP . For our application, it would be crucial to be able to easily adjust brightness and contrast live during acquisition but it seems this possibility is not available on the software that we have: cell^F 2.8 (Build 1235, Function Table 1075, Acquisition extended).

I understood that we could control the camera and stage with Micro-Manager, and that, by doing this, we would have this simple feature (live/online brightness and contrast adjustment).

Does anybody know if this applies also to our system (i.e. if they are compatible?).
