Nikon Eclipse Ti2 epi-illumination port clear aperture

Hi all,

Would anyone be able to tell me the clear aperture (a.k.a. minimum diameter) of the epi-illumination pathway on a Nikon Eclipse Ti2?

I estimate from the blue prints in their brochure that it is between 36 and 43 mm, but it would be nice if someone with access to one of these scopes could confirm this. Links to the full blueprints would also be welcome.

I asked a Nikon rep back when you put this question up and he just got back to me. He says the product manager tells him it’s 32 mm (and less with a stage-up kit on). I do have a Ti2 if you want to guide me on making any specific measurements (but don’t have one I can disassemble anytime soon)

Thanks for this! There’s no need to measure it yourself; 32 mm suffices for what I need to know.
