Hi all,

Thank you. Are you asking your users to do all the cleaning? We thought that it would be dangerous to leave it up to them, so we are doing the cleaning ourselves once a day. Obviously this doesn’t protect all of the users, but only the ones who use the microscope right after the cleaning. We are not sure if ours is the right strategy.

Locally disinfecting wipes are sold out. I wonder if the kimwipes - ethanol would be OK on mice/ joysticks, etc. too.

I can’t thank you enough for sharing! I added a pic of a touch screen next to the joystick as we have both. Also, a picture with a face and a mask on, as department decided to alter mask usage to “highly recommended”.

…Oh! And I swapped the order for clean eye pieces, for EtOH bottle first, then tissue then eye pieces. In the guidelines I wrote that people should wet the tissue not the parts.
