Zeiss Laser Current Threshold Reached Error

Hi all,
Has anyone seen this error and do you know what it means? Is the laser dying?
“Laser 561nm:ErrLaserCurrentThresholdReached”

We cannot figure it out from Googling or searching Zeiss documents. Using a Zeiss LSM 980. Error is only for the 561nm laser. The error results in an artifact (see image).

For those who may see this in the future, our Zeiss reps determined the laser is noisy and needs replacing. Fortunately we are under service contract. We were shocked because the system is less than 2 years old.
