Microtutor is really a big boon for light microscopy enthusiast like me. Course contents look exiting. I think inclusion of a bit of technical aspects on plant and animal sample preparation for fluorescence microscopy could be of additional benefit to the learners.

I have learnt a lot throughout the course!! I have one question regarding the content in chapter1. For the brightness and the spectra of a fluorophore, does it also depend on experimental factors (other than QE and EC), such as pH, temperature etc. And if so, where can I find relevant information, like can I find how the spectrum changes depending on pH in FPbase?
