I’m currently working on an Olympus FV1000MPE multiphoton system. The Mai Tai laser is functional and can be controlled through the Spectra-Physics GUI, but the FluoView software is not communicating with the laser. The “ON” button in the MP Laser Controller panel is unavailable, and the mode-lock status shows as “Unlocked,” even though the laser is running properly outside of FluoView. All other Microscopic controls are functional in the Fluoveiw software except laser.
Previously, we were able to operate the laser system using only FluoView, without launching the Spectra GUI.
We have already tried restarting the system and checked the USB/COM port (still on COM13), but the issue persists.
Has anyone encountered a similar issue, or is there a known fix to restore communication between FluoView and the laser?
