I am curious if anyone has a favorite near infrared (e.g., similar spectra to Cy7 or AlexaFluor 750) fluorescent bead option for imaging on the various point-scanning confocal setups that have the NIR laser/detection schemes.
So far in my search I have come across the Invitrogen FluoSpheres Carboxylate-Modified Microspheres (Cat No F8799) 715 nm ex/750 nm em 100 nm beads. Has anyone tried out these beads before?
