Fix the circuit board issue of Nikon Ti2 filter converter

Our Nikon Ti2 microscope’s filter converter, Ti2-F-FLT-E, accidentally got water and broke down. We found that the circuit board was slightly damaged. The supplier told us that replacing it with a new one would require a very high price and a long waiting time, we would like to try to repair it during this period. Does anyone know how to obtain the design circuit diagram of Ti2-F-FLT-E? Thank you in advance for any help.

Dear z1_Wang,

To my knowledge the Ti2-E is still the active microscope model from Nikon. In the past we were not able to obtain drawings of Ti-E components to help fit them on Ti2-E microscope. Therefore, obtaining schematics for the PCB boards I feel is going to be next to impossible.

In my opinion your options are: 1) find a second hand Ti2-E part. 2) replace the whole Ti2-F-FLT-E motorized turret. 3) Order replacement PCB as spare part and wait for the repair to be performed.

I’d opt for replacing the whole Ti2-F-FLT-E, swapping it does not require a service engineer while repairing the PCB will add several labour hours and back&forth logistic handling charges.

Best,
