Im using a fluorescent microscope for the first time. When looking at the slide with bright field, I can see the entire image. However, when switching to just viewing using the fluorescent bulb, the image only appears as a small octogon. Ive altered just about every setting i can think of.
It is an issue looking through the lens and digital.

It looks to me like there is an aperture somewhere in the path between your fluorescent light source and the objective that is partially closed. Perhaps if you provided a few more details about the microscope such as make and model others on the list would be able to help you further.
