The Aiden and Nir labs (UTMB) collaborate to study 3D genome organization and how its modulation can influence cell fate and are looking to hire a research scientist to oversee operations in our new Southeast Texas chromosome tracing core. The Aiden lab is part of the Department of Human and Molecular Genetics at Baylor College of Medicine, located in the heart of the Texas Medical Center in Houston, Texas. The Nir lab is a member of the Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at UTMB located in Galveston, Texas. The Staff Scientist will travel between the two labs each month, not typically daily.
