Hello everyone !
I want to perfuse medium in a Chamlide (Quorum technologies, here) in order to maintain our sample well for 24-48h, and I was considering using Pumpy to do so. Does anyone here already did such operations and would be willing to share any tips/tricks ? Is Pumpy overkilled for such operation ?
Any suggestion would be more than welcome !
Thank you
Julien

Hi Julien, we’ve used Pumpy to keep cells in a microscope for a few days, refreshing the media, then fixing after a timepoint. It works, but there are a few things you need to be aware - such as the fact that the computer might put the USB ports to sleep that control the pumps after a while. Have a chat with Romain from the lab, he can give you some pointers on what we tried (https://gitter.im/NanoJ-Fluidics or drop him a direct message).

Hello Ricardo,
Thank you very much for your reply. It confirmed that Pumpy could be perfectly suitable for this. I will contact Romain to get more details on the software and hardware part.
Have a good day.
Julien
