Anyone have their favorite HCI?

Hi Everyone! I have the privilege of purchasing a new HCI. I have been looking at a few different options and have a budget of around $500k. Does anyone have their favorite? I have used the CX7 LZR Pro extensively in the past, but I am curious to see what others think.

So far, my front runners are:

Operetta CLS

Mol Devices HCS.ai

Yokogawa CQ3000

Software is important, but I get away with cellprofiler/cellpose so software isn’t as critical for me, but is still nice to have for other users.

Curious to hear people’s thoughts on support, reliability, and function! My experience with the CX7 wasn’t the best, poor support, defective filters, old software (that they aren’t planning on updating), ect.

Hi,

Operetta is a very capable, fast and heavy used system around here. Recently nearby facility placed an ImageXpress HCS.ai in favor of Yokogawa. Mainly due to the software AI capabilities I heard. I’ve yet to see the system in action.

Another possible contender (at least in US) might be Eclipse Ji with spinning disk or this Nikon AX NSPARC? Much flexibility possible on configuration if you need that.

You are fortunate to be shopping for such nice systems!!

Best,

Teo
