I have managed the Microscopy and Imaging Core facility at UCR since 2002; before which I had industry experience at Meridian (confocal) and Genomic Solutions (gene chip imagers, robots). My science background is mostly entomology, but at UCR I support 138 labs in 16 departments all across campus, so I see all kinds of samples.
