Hi everybody,
Has anyone ever successfully expressed mTurquoise2, mNeonGreen and mCherry **in Yeast**? Was there a lot of codon optimization? Any reason why we should not go for these tags in our future yeast experiments?
Thanks and best regards,
Laurent.

Have you seen this article?

Hard to find a better characterization than that.

Definitely have imaged Cherry for a user, it was dim-ish and liked to bleach, but played with imaging conditions and was able to image about 20 minutes or a bit longer with no photobleaching. I have no experience with the others in yeast. Good luck! BTW - mRuby seemed better in yeast than Cherry.
