This category is for announcements, such as new publications, hardware releases, and upcoming community events.

- New releases of microscopy hardware.
- Upcoming events, such as conferences, courses and workshops that are relevant and may be of interest to the microscopy community.
- Status updates for funding, governance, etc.

The rule of thumb is: would users in the microforum community find it useful to know about? If so, announce it here!
